Jello boba tea may be the craziest ASMR muck-bang treat we could find. So we made it.
DIY Jello Bubble Tea
This recipe takes jello fruit cakes to a different level. Make this if you're in the mood for boba but want to mix it up.
Ingredients:
- Tapioca Pearls https://amzn.to/2YiC0x1
- Tapioca Flour https://amzn.to/34msIno
- Honey or Simple Syrup
- 5-6 Tea Bags https://amzn.to/2QlCled
- 5 Cups Water
- 1.5 Cup Milk
- 8 Tbsp Sugar
- 5 Tbsp Unflavored Gelatin

Instructions:
- Make tapioca pearls to package instructions
- Put 1.5 cup of a water into a bowl. Sprinkle 4 tablespoons (or 4 envelopes) overtop. Allow to bloom for 5 minutes.
- In a large pot bring 5 cups water to a boil. Add 5 to 6 tea bags. Steep 2 minutes. Add 1.5 cups of milk and 8 Tbsp sugar. Bring up to a parboil and stir in the gelatin until dissolved. Take off the heat.
- Prepare the molds by spraying with oil. Put tapioca pearls in the bottom of the mold. Pour on-top the jello tea. Place the cups in the refrigerator for 4 hours.
- To get the jello boba tea out of the mold put warm water in a medium size bowl. Place the mold into the water. It will loosen and then you're ready to flip it out and take a bite.

You can also make regular milk tea with these ingredients. Place 1/2 cup milk, 1 cup tea, and 1 tbsp sugar in a cocktail shaker over ice. Shake. Pour in a cup overtop tapioca pearls. Drink with a thick straw.
