Ingredients:
- Burger Bun
- 2 80/20 Ground Beef Patties (3.3oz) each
- 3 Slices Thick Cut Bacon
- 2 American Cheese Slices
- Lettuce
- Tomato
- Pickles
- Ketchup
- Mustard
- Mayo
Optional:
- Grilled Mushrooms
- Grilled Onions
- Hot Sauce
Instructions:
- Start by baking your bacon until crispy. Or grill it.
- Cut tomato into slices.
- To get technical, weigh out your two burgers to approximately 3.3 oz
each
- Smash them on the grill high heat to get that sear
- Toast your sesame seed bun
- Melt 2 cheese slices in between the two burgers on a saute pan with 2
tbsp water. Cover, and steam until melted.
- Build this burger starting with the bottom bun, ketchup and mustard,
double burger with cheese on the inside
- On the top bun spread on mayonnaise topped with lettuce tomato,
pickles and bacon
- Sandwich the two halves together and wrap in foil for authentic
presentation

Ingredients:
- Plain Burger Bun
- 2 80/20 Organic Beef Burgers (2 oz)
- 4 American Cheese Slices
- 1 Small White Onion, Minced and Caramelized
- 2 Tomato Slices
- Lettuce
Instructions:
- Start with caramelizing your onions by mincing your onion. Using a
small frying pan heated to medium high heat add 1 tbsp oil. Cook
onions on high heat, and then once they begin to brown, put the heat
on low, and cook low and slow until done.
- Mix all the ingredients for the special sauce together and set in the
refrigerator until you are ready to build your burger.
- Create your 2 oz beef patties, grill on one side and spread mustard
on the other side. Flip and grill the mustard side until cooked
through.
- Toast your burger bun.
- Place your burgers back in the pan on medium high heat. Place 2
slices of American cheese on each burger. Put 2 tbsp of water in the
pan, cover, and in 15 to 30 seconds the cheese should be melted
through.
- Now your ready to build your burger. Bottom bun, special sauce,
lettuce, tomato, pickles, 2 cheeseburgers, caramelized onion, and
then the top bun.
