Corn on the Cob But Instead of the Corn Bone It's A Hotdog
Corn dogs are great but let's be real.... there's not enough corn. Also the center of the corn on the cobb is not edible (almost like bone). Thanks to inspiration from Jenna Marbles, and her friend, we did our best to create a corn on the cob but instead of the corn bone its a hot dog.
Ingredients:
- Corn on the Cobb
- Vegan Hot Dogs
- 1 1/4 Cup Gluten Free Flour
- 3/4 Cup Corn Meal
- 2 Tbsp Vegan Egg
- 1/4 Cup Sugar
- 1 Tbsp of Baking Powder
- 1 Cup of Almond Milk
THINGS YOU’LL NEED:
- Deep Fryer: http://amzn.to/2nHDBe6
- HJF Cutting Board: http://bit.ly/2Eyhr3R
- HJF Apron: http://bit.ly/2Ez9Cz0
Instructions:
- Preheat deep fryer to 350 ° F.
- In a large bowl mix together flour, corn meal, sugar, and baking powder. Add in egg. Whisk in milk slowly until the batter is the consistency you want. For this keep it a bit thick so the corns attach easy.
- Cut corn, to the best of your ability, to keep corn together by cutting down the side of the "bone".
- Place parchment down and then mold the batter around a corn dog. Place corn into the batter patterning corn itself. Deep fry for 6-8 minutes.
