Recipe Type: Side Dish
Cuisine: American
Serves: 1-5

 THINGS YOU'LL NEED:

  • Kitchen Aid Stand Mixer, Electric Hand Mixer, or Large whisk and Bowl
  • Oven
  • Large Baking Pan
  • Parchment Paper
  • Rubber Spatula

INGREDIENTS:

Sauce:

  • 1 Can (15 oz) Tomato Sauce
  • 6 oz Tomato Paste
  • 2 Tbsp Sugar
  • 1 Tsp Dry Oregano
  • ½ Tsp Marjoram
  • ½ Tsp Dry Basil
  • ½ Tsp Garlic Powder
  • ½ Tsp Salt
Topping:
  • 2 Tbsp Parmesan Cheese
  • 2 Tsp Garlic Powder
  • 2 Tsp Garlic Salt
  • 2 Tsp Onion Powder
  • 2 Tsp Oregano
  • 2 Tsp Basil
Bread::
  • 10 Eggs, egg whites only
  • 1 tsp Cream of Tartar
  • 1 tsp Baking Soda
  • Spray olive oil

INSTRUCTIONS:
  1. Preheat the oven to 350F.
  2. Combine all of the toppings ingredients in a small bowl and stir.
  3. Combine all the sauce ingredients in a small pot and stir.  Put on low heat until warm.  Set aside and reheat right before serving.
  4. Separate Eggs yolks from whites. This is easier to do when the eggs are cold.  You will only need the whites for this recipe.
  5. Place the egg whites in the large stand mixer bowl and whip until it starts to form peaks.  About 3-5 minutes. Will whip faster when the egg whites are room temperature.
  6. Once peaks start to form, stop whipping,  add Cream of Tartar and Baking Soda, and continue to whip for an additional 2 minutes.
  7. Line a Baking sheet with parchment Paper. Spray oil on the bottom and sides.  Put the cloud bread into the pan, evening out the top of dough with a rubber or flat spatula. Cut in imprints of where the breadsticks will separate into 5 breadsticks.
  8. Spray more oil on top and sprinkle on the topping/seasoning in an even layer on top of that.
  9. Bake for 10 minutes. Then remove the parchment paper, reset the oven to broil, and broil the top of the breadsticks until golden brown.
  10. Cut apart using a pizza cutter, serve on a plate with a side of the sauce. Dip and enjoy!
