DIY Unicorn Frappuccino
We knew when the Unicorn Frappuccino came out that we had to go straight to the core of the Starbucks recipe to give you guys the copycat that you expect from us. This magical drink got a ton of negative coverage on taste but personally, I think people weren’t ready for the sweet, fruity, sour, and creamy concoction that Starbucks developed. A beverage with so many qualities is something more mystical than we could ever imagine and if you want to achieve that taste that no longer is available at Starbucks… trust us when we say, this recipe is spot on.

Cuisine: American
Serves: 2
Ingredients:
- Pint Glass of Ice
- 1 Cup Milk
- ¼ Cup Heavy Cream
- 3 Tbsp Condensed Milk
- 1 Tbsp Mango Syrup
- 2 Tbsp Pink Sour Sugar
- 2 Drops Edible Pink Food Dye
- Whipped Cream
Instructions:
- First make your blue syrup by melting your white chocolate in a sauce
pan or microwave.
- Once melted stir in your blue sugar, heavy cream, and citric acid
until it is a syrup consistency. Keep in mind the more citric acid
the more sour the taste. Keep your syrup on low heat stirring
occasionally as you make your frap.
- In a blender blend together ice, milk, heavy cream, sweetened
condensed milk, mango syrup, pink sour sugar, and pink dye. Add
additional citric acid if you want an even more sour flavor.
- Put your blue syrup into a piping bag and rim the interior of your
glass with your blue syrup
- Pour your pink creamy mango flavored frap into your glass
- Top with whipped cream and pink and blue sour sugar
- All you need is a big green straw and you've just created an official
tasting unofficial Starbucks Unicorn Frappuccino at home.
