Leftover mac and cheese is not going to be a problem anymore. We tested several recipes to find the tastiest concoctions you can make with unused or excess noodles. 

How To Make VIRAL Leftover Mac N Cheese Recipes

Test out these recipes when you have leftover mac n cheese available to you.  We hope this can inspire you to get creative in the kitchen.  Do be aware none of these below are healthy at all. 


Mac and Cheese Waffles

A great way to trick your parents into letting you eat mac n cheese for breakfast.

THINGS YOU’LL NEED: 

Ingredients:
  • Leftover Mac N Cheese
  • Spray Oil or Melted Butter
  • Velveeta Cheese Sauce
Instructions:
  1. Preheat the waffle maker to medium high heat.
  2. Spray oi or brush butterl onto both sides of the press.
  3. Add about 3 heaping handfuls of leftover mac n cheese to the waffle maker and close.  Allow to cook for 2-3 minutes. 
  4. Carefully flip the mac n cheese waffle out of the waffle maker onto a cutting board or a plate.
  5. Spread on cheese and dive in.

    Mac and Cheese Pot Pie

    Have you ever had a pizza pot pie before?  Well how about a mac n cheese version?  This is by far the best method of using up leftover mac n cheese.

    THINGS YOU’LL NEED: 

    Ingredients:
    • 2 Cups Leftover Mac N Cheese
    • 5 Mozzarella Cheese Slices
    • 1 Slice American Cheese
    • Mac and Cheese Dough (or other dough)
    • Spray Oil or Melted Butter
    Instructions:
    1. Take an oven safe bowl.  Flip upside down and spray oil or brush on butter.   
    2. Line the bowl with mozzarella cheese slices.  Add an extra slice to the center. 
    3. Spoon in leftover mac and cheese.
    4. Spray the rim of the bowl with oil OR brush on butter.  Roll out dough and place on top of the bowl to close. 
    5. Place the bowl on a cookie sheet and bake for 30 minutes. 
    6. Carefully use a spoon to pull the dough away from the bowl and flip onto a plate. Enjoy!

      Macaroni and Cheese Lava Cake

      THINGS YOU’LL NEED: 

      Ingredients:
      • 2 Cups Leftover Mac N Cheese
      • 1 Egg
      • 2 Tbsp Flour
      • Velveeta Cheese Sauce or American Cheese Slices
      Breading
      • 1 Cup Flour
      • 3 Eggs
      • Cheetos
      • Flamin' Hot Cheetos
      • Oil for Deep Frying
      Instructions:
      1. In a large bowl take 2 cups of leftover mac n cheese. Add egg and flour and mix to combine. 
      2. In a nonstick silicone muffin pan spoon in 2 tbsps of the mac n cheese mixture.  Use your two fingers to press a divot into the center and then add cheese to the space you created.  Put 1 tbsp more of the mac mixture on top and press down to form.  Repeat. 
      3. Set in the refrigerator to come together before breading. 
      4. Preheat Deep Fryer to 350°F.
      5. Set up a breading station with blitzed Cheetos or bread crumbs, eggs, and flour.  Place the mac and cheese lava cake into the flour, eggs, and then Cheetos. 
      6. Deep fry for 3-4 minutes or until golden. 
      7. Serve on a cutting board or plate.  Garnish with some more Cheetos dusted on top.  
      8. Dig right in to get that cheesy oooey gooey center!  Yum!!

        Deep Fried Cheetos Mac N Cheese INSIDE of Flamin' Hot Deep Fried Mac N Cheese

        This recipe is a mistake waiting to happen.  Could have gone further with more layers but realized sometimes you just need to stop.  One layer or two... a deep fried mac n cheese ball is a delicious treat to make you crave processed food for a lifetime.

        THINGS YOU’LL NEED: 

        Ingredients:
        • Leftover Mac N Cheese
        • 1 Egg
        • 2 Tbsp Flour
        • Velveeta Cheese Sauce or American Cheese Slices
        Breading
        • 1 Cup Flour
        • 3 Eggs
        • Cheetos
        • Flamin' Hot Cheetos
        Instructions:
        1. Follow the first steps of the lava cake recipe above.  (So at this time you should have one deep fried lava cake OR cheese stuffed mac and cheese ball.)
        2. In a large bowl take 2 cups of leftover mac n cheese.  Add egg and flour and mix to combine. 
        3. Put plastic wrap down on cutting board or bench.  Take 2 hand full of the mac mixture to the center of the plastic wrap.  Place the lava cake on top.  Add more of the  mac mixture to the top.  Use the plastic wrap to wind up the layer tight into a ball.. Allow to set in the refrigerator. 
        4. Preheat Deep Fryer to 350°F.
        5. Set up a breading station with blitzed Flamin' Hot Cheetos or bread crumbs, scrambled eggs, and flour.  Place the lava cake into the flour, eggs, and then Cheetos. 
        6. Deep fry for 3-4 minutes or until golden and get ready for high blood pressure.
