INGREDIENTS:
Brownies:- 5 Sticks Unsalted Butter
- 2 cups Granulated Sugar
- 1 cup packed Light Brown Sugar
- 3 cups plus 8 Tbsp Unsweetened Cocoa Powder, sifted
- 2 tsp Vanilla Extract
- 8 large Eggs plus 4 Egg Yolks
- 4 Tbsp Light Corn Syrup
- 2 2/3 cups AP Flour
- 4 Tbsp Cornstarch
- 1 tsp Fine Salt
- 6 cups Good Quality Semisweet Chocolate Chips
- 2 cups Heavy Cream
- 1 Bag Hershey's Kisses
- 3 Bags White Melting Wafers
- Food Dyes, Gel Type
- Electric Purple
- Electric Blue
- Electric Orange
- Electric Yellow
- Electric Pink
- Electric Green
Brownies:
- Preheat oven @ 350°F. Line metal baking pan with parchment, spray with cooking spray.
- In a large microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter for 2 minutes on high power.
- Stir in the granulated sugar, brown sugar, and cocoa powder.
- Let cool slightly before adding in the vanilla, eggs, egg yolk, and corn syrup. Stir until very well combined.
- Add in the flour, cornstarch, and salt and stir until just combined. Don't over mix!
- Pour into the prepared pan and bake for 26-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out with a few moist crumbs. The brownies will look slightly undercooked.
- Let cool completely in the pan before frosting.
Frosting:
- Place the cream in a microwave-safe bowl and microwave on high for 3 minutes or until 180 degrees.
- Add in the chocolate chips. Let stand for 3 minutes before stirring, Mix until smooth.
- Pour over the cooled brownies and smooth evenly.
- Refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
Large Colored Chocolate Chips:
- Follow melting instructions on bag for the white melting wafers.
- Divide the melted white wafers into several different smaller bowls.
- Add separate colors of food coloring to each bowl to create the multi colored coatings.
- One at a time, Dunk the kisses into the colored coating. Place on a wire rack to drip off excess.
- Allow too cool.
- Place giant chips on-top of the massive cosmic brownie.
