Chicken Inside A Waffle

Chicken and waffles have always had the perfect marriage and since we enjoy putting foods inside of foods so much we thought why not put that fried chicken inside. Yep, on the side just wont work out anymore.  Of course you could put any chicken inside… It’s all about the waffle batter.  We found in experimenting with lot’s of different fast food chicken, that chicken tenders are the best when put inside cut up.  If you throw a bit of Mac N Cheese in too you’ll take it to the next level of deliciousness.


Fried Chaffle

Do you like drumsticks and waffles? Well try your hand at this extremely unconventional, impractical and tedious process of eating chicken and waffles.

This is a doubled up recipe, Please cut in half for less batter.

Ingredients:


  • 4 cups flour sifted
  • 8 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup oil
  • 4 cups milk
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • Drumstick
  • Maple Syrup

THINGS YOU'LL NEED:



Instructions:

Waffle:


  1. In first bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder, salt and sugar
  2. In a second bowl separate egg whites and beat them until soft white peaks form
  3. In a third bowl mix together the egg yolks, milk, oil, and vanilla and stir thoroughly
  4. Combine all ingredients and then fold in egg whites
  5. This is your batter which will be used for all recipes

Drumstick Waffle:


  1. Pour ¼ cup batter in waffle iron, do not close
  2. Place drumstick on top of batter and cook for 3 minutes
  3. Take drumstick and waffle off of the iron, pour ¼ cup batter in waffle iron and place the drumstick/waffle back onto the batter
  4. Try to fold the edges in and cook for another 3 minutes
  5. This should be good...

  1. Fill the waffle iron with batter and place 4 Naked Chicken Chips in each quadrant of the waffle iron
  2. Add more batter on top to cover the Naked Chicken Chips
  3. Cook for 3-5 minutes
  4. Dip in Nacho Cheese, it's not that bad

The most functional and delicious of the recipes we came up with. Highly recommend this one if you have the ingredients lying around. Mac N' Cheese + Fried Chicken Tenders + Waffles = Flavorgasm

  • KFC Chicken Tenders

Instructions:


  1. Chop up Chicken Tenders into bite size pieces
  2. Fill the waffle iron with batter and place all the chicken pieces on top
  3. Pour on the Mac N' Cheese
  4. Top it with more batter until completely covered
  5. Cook for 3-5 minutes, flip and finish for an additional 2-3 minutes on the other side
  6. Serve with barbecue sauce
