Applebee’s Chicken Wonton Taco

Baked Wonton’s in a bowl shape stuffed with stir fried chicken in a sesame ginger teriyaki marinade and ginger vinaigrette coleslaw, topped with fresh cilantro, baked noodle, chives and crushed almonds.  This is one bite you will not forget for at least a few hours if not days.

Ingredients:


  • 12 Wonton Wraps
  • 1 Tsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • Stir Fry Chicken
  • ½ lb Boneless Chicken Breast
  • 2 Tbsp Stir Fry Sauce
  • 3 Tbsp Sesame Ginger Dressing
  • 1 Tbsp Low Sodium Soy Sauce
  • 1 Tbsp Teriyaki Marinade Sauce

Ginger Cole Slaw:


  • 2 Cups Cole Slaw Salad Mix
  • 2 Tbsp Cole Slaw Dressing
  • 2 Tbsp Sesame Ginger Dressing
  • Toppings per Wonton Cup
  • Crushed almonds
  • Baked noodles
  • Dash of fresh cilantro
  • Chives

THINGS YOU'LL NEED:



Instructions:

Bake Wonton's


  1. Stack 12 Wonton Wrappers on top of each other (saves time cutting)
  2. Cut slits into them as shown in the picture
  3. This allows them to sit into the 1.5 oz mini muffin pan
  4. Spray the wonton's down with extra virgin olive oil
  5. Place into the pan and pinch them together as shown
  6. Bake on 375°F for 8-9 minutes or until crispy

Ginger Coleslaw:


  1. In a medium bowl combine:
  2. Cups of coleslaw salad mix
  3. Tbsp of coleslaw dressing (less if you want it leaner)
  4. Tbsp of sesame ginger dressing
  5. Mix thoroughly
  6. Refrigerate until use
  7. Stir Fry The Chicken
  8. Dice chicken into small cubes

Fill a Wok with:


  1. Tbsp sesame ginger dressing
  2. Tbsp stir fry sauce
  3. Tbsp low sodium soy sauce
  4. Tbsp teriyaki marinade sauce
  5. Turn on to medium heat
  6. Toss in chicken and fry until fully cooked
  7. Fill The Cups Each With
  8. Tbsp of marinaded chicken cubes
  9. 1/2 Tsp of stir fry sauce
  10. 1 Tbsp of ginger coleslaw
  11. Top with a dash of fresh cilantro, crushed almonds, crunchy noodles and chives
