DIY Breakfast Inside A Hash Brown

JP woke up one day and said, breakfast needs to be inside a hash brown so we made his dream come true.  All you need is a few potatoes, breakfast, and a deep fryer and you can make this too.


Julia's Breakfast Inside A Hash Brown

Ingredients:


  • 6 medium Russet Potatoes
  • 5 Tbsp Flour
  • 3 Eggs
  • Sausage
  • American Cheese
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • Oil for Frying
  • Ketchup

Instructions:


  • Grate four large potatoes. Put in a bowl of water. Prior to stuffing your hash brown take out of water and dry on a paper towel.
  • Create a cylindrical shape out of two sausage patties.
  • Scramble eggs and cook on the stove top.
  • Take dry potatoes shreds and mix with 5 tbps of flour.
  • Place 1 cup of potato on plastic wrap. Flatten out and shape into a cylinder. Place sausage, egg, then cheese, and top off with another layer of potato.
  • Shape together. Use the plastic wrap as a tool to wrap the hash brown together and freeze for 1-2 hours.
  • Deep Fry at 350°F for 5 minutes or until golden brown.

JP's Breakfast Inside A Hash Brown

JP decided to take all of those scratch ingredients and replace them with McDonald’s breakfast.  This franken-food is a creation that is going down as one of the more intelligent things JP has ever done, as no hash brown will go eaten without a McMuffin or your choice breakfast sandwich.

  • 6 McDonald's Hash Browns
  • 1 breakfast sandwich
  • Oil for deep fryer

THINGS YOU'LL NEED:






Instructions:


  1. Place McDonald's hash browns into bowl. Mash well.
  2. Place ½ of this mash into plastic wrap. Place any breakfast sandwich inside. Cover and wrap tight.
  3. Freeze.
  4. Deep Fry at 350°F for 5 minutes or until golden brown.
