I'm a simple person and movie theatre nachos are straight to the point delicious. Nacho cheese and chips. They always skimp on the cheese tho so when you make it at home, simply quadruple the recipe and you should have the adequate amount of cheese per chip ratio.
Serves: 5
Nacho Cheese Sauce:
  • 16 oz Sharp Cheddar Cheese
  • ½ Stick Butter (4 Tbsp)
  • ¼ Cup All Purpose Flour
  • 2 Cups Whole Milk
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Cayenne Pepper
  • Whisk
  • Sauce Pan
  • Tin Foil (to create nacho tray)
  1. Grate or cube 16 oz of Sharp Cheddar Cheese and set aside for later
  2. Melt ½ stick of butter in sauce pan completely
  3. Add in ¼ Cup All Purpose flour and whisk on medium low heat until flour is cooked down
  4. Add 2 Cups of Milk and bring to a boil
  5. Reduce heat and add grated Sharp Cheddar Cheese, Slat & Cayenne Pepper
