  • Cellentani Pasta
  • Chicken Tender Meat
  • Seasoned Flour
  • Buttermilk
  • Fresh Parsley
  • Four Cheese Sauce
  • Honey Pepper Sauce
  • Bacon
  • 1 Breadstick
Honey Pepper Sauce
  • ¾ Cup Honey
  • ⅓ Cup Soy Sauce
  • ¼ Cup Brown Sugar
  • ¼ Cup Pineapple Juice
  • 1 Lemon Juiced
  • 1 Tbsp Vinegar
  • 1 Tsp Black Pepper
  • Dash of Cayenne Pepper
Four Cheese Sauce
  • ½ Cup Parmesan Cheese
  • ¾ Cup Mozzarella
  • ½ Cup Romano
  • ½ Cup Asiago
  • ½ Stick of Butter
  • 2 Cups Cream
  • Dash of Basil
  • 3 Cloves Minced Garlic
Instructions
  1. For the Honey Pepper Sauce, simply combine the ingredients above and bring the mixture to a boil and then let simmer for about 15 minutes or until the sauce thickens.
  2. For the Cheese Sauce, melt the butter and cream together and then add in the other ingredients. Keep the mixture at a low simmer until ready to use.
  3. Cut chicken breast into strips, or buy them pre-cut and let them thoroughly soak in the buttermilk then toss them into a seasoned flour mixture and coat liberally.
  4. Once fully coated, deep fry for 365°F for about 5 minutes or until golden brown and cooked all the way through.
  5. For this recipe if you boil the entire box of Cellentani Pasta that should be enough for all of the cheese sauce.
  6. Toss the cooked pasta into the cheese sauce and toss the chicken into the honey pepper sauce.
  7. Plate with the pasta, three chicken strips in honey pepper sauce, bacon pieces, fresh parsley and a single breadstick.
  8. Now you have recreated the famous and delicious Applebee's Four Cheese Mac & Honey Pepper Chicken Tenders!
