I’d like to say this whole Cheetos thing has gotten out of control, but this recipe not only makes sense to do, but also is a great recipe for mozzarella sticks substituting flaming hot Cheetos in place of Italian bread crumbs.  I sure hope you lovely people at home try this one out because it is quite possibly the best mozzarella stick I’ve ever had.

  • Polly-O String Cheese (Mozzarella)
  • Flaming Hot Cheetos
  • Flour
  • Franks Red Hot
  • Eggs
  • Milk
  • Cayenne Pepper
  • Paprika
  • Chili Powder

  1. Grind up Cheetos (Puffs work better)
  2. Dry Mix: 1 Cup Flour, 1 tsp Cayenne, 1 tsp Paprika, 1 tsp Chili Powder
  3. Wet Mix: 1 Egg, ½ Cup Milk, ¼ Cup Franks Red Hot
  4. Coat Cheese Stick in Dry, then in Wet, back in Dry, back in Wet and then into the Hot Cheetos
  5. TIP: Don't touch the Cheese Stick in the Dry Mixture, just move the bowl to coat the Cheese Stick
  6. Freeze these for 30 minutes minimum
  7. Deep Fry @ 350°F for 2 minutes and 34 seconds
  8. This should be the perfect amount of time if you're exactly 350°F
